Megan is currently interning along Agnes Chavez in her year long apprenticeship. During this time, she will develop skills in website design, programming, metaverse design, ArcGIS story mapping, interactive design, projection mapping, and interactive design. The end project of this internship will focus around the Space Messengers project which is an interactive exhibit highlighting individuals voices while connecting the world through a Sci-Art learning space.
In the summer of 2020, Megan enrolled in IEA program director Melanie Gisler's program, Forest Bound. Megan learned all different stretches of ecology. This included studying plant anatomy, learning botanical terms, families, and classifications, hands-on measuring and monitoring of plant species, learning about ethnobotany, studying plant relationships, and removing invasive species in order to repopulate the areas with native species.
